MP's Message
Dear Residents,

Exciting news!
We're bringing upgraded sports and lifestyle facilities closer to you with the new Sport-In-Precinct (SIP) facilities. This initiative promotes healthy living and is the first of its kind in Zhenghua, benefitting residents in Senja Square and its vicinity.

We've collaborated with grassroots leaders and stakeholders to craft a design proposal for the SIP facilities. You will find the overall concept plan and artists’ illustrations of the proposed SIP designs below, along with an explanation of each sporting facility that will be implemented. Your feedback is crucial to tailor the project to our community's needs as we plan and implement the designs.

Senja Go! Trail
The theme for the SIP initiative is titled the SENJA GO! Trail.

The SENJA GO! Trail aims to provide multi-generational play and fitness space that is inspired by “Ninja-warrior” and the Standard Obstacle Course from the army.
Various modular play & fitness zones of differing difficulty and fitness levels are plugged into a unifying running track around the precinct. This allows for residents of all ages, fitness level and mobility requirements to use the space according to their comfort level; the dynamic SENJA GO! Trail allows for endless ways of programming and stitching different play & fitness zones into an Active Health Sports routine that is both inclusive and engaging for all.

BALANCE, MOBILITY, STRENGTH ZONE
The Balance, Mobility and Strength Zone places a strong emphasis on balance and stability training. By incorporating exercises that challenge the body's stability, such as single-leg movements, balancing logs and stumps, it aims to improve proprioception, core strength, and overall body control. Enhancing balance not only reduces the risk of injuries but also improves athletic performance and everyday functional movements. The new Strength Zone focuses on key upper and lower body muscle groups to improve overall muscular strength and conditioning.
